1. Acceptance of Terms
By using safehandleusa.com or purchasing SafeHandle products, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. The Product
SafeHandle is a peel-and-stick handle attachment for swing-door trash cans. It is designed to allow users to push the lid open without touching it directly. The yellow tip is treated with antibacterial agents that reduce — but do not eliminate — bacteria on the handle surface. Use of SafeHandle does not replace normal hand hygiene practices.
3. Preorders
Orders placed during the preorder window are reservations for products that will ship in August 2026. By placing a preorder, you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge your card when the product ships. You may cancel a preorder at any time before shipment through contact us; we will not charge your card if you cancel before we ship. Preorder pricing is subject to change for new orders, but locked-in for orders already reserved.
4. Pricing and Payment
Prices on the site are in U.S. dollars. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price you pay is the price displayed at the time you complete checkout. We accept payment via Stripe; we do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
5. Shipping
Free standard shipping is included on all consumer orders within the continental United States. Bulk orders (50+ units) ship via FedEx; shipping cost for bulk orders is included in the quote we provide. Estimated delivery times are estimates only — we are not responsible for delays caused by carriers.
6. Returns and Guarantee
SafeHandle comes with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied within 30 days of receiving your order, contact us and we will refund your purchase. Returned units do not need to be in original packaging — we trust your assessment. Bulk orders (50+ units) have separate return terms specified in the bulk order quote.
7. Product Use and Limitations
SafeHandle is designed for use on smooth, clean trash can lids. It may not adhere to oily, dirty, textured, or porous surfaces. We are not responsible for adhesion failure on incompatible surfaces. The product should not be used on heated surfaces, in dishwashers, or in environments above 150°F. Use of SafeHandle does not guarantee elimination of bacteria — it reduces direct contact with the trash lid surface, but normal hand hygiene practices remain important.
8. Intellectual Property
SafeHandle, the SafeHandle logo, and all site content are the property of Amazica Holdings LLC. The product design is patent pending. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or related to these terms or the use of SafeHandle is limited to the amount you paid for the product in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
